The Impossible is Possible: Obama's Speech in Ohio,Update

I'm attaching a link to the video from President Obama's speech in Cleveland because I haven't seen it yet. This is a must watch video.

In President Obama's speech today, he talked about solutions for the economy, he talked about how the Republicans are responsible for the debt and the deficit and the recession, he talked about their obstruction, but most importantly he talked about his vision for America and HOPE.

In September 2007, I sat in my living room and watched an "analyst" say:

"Obama blew it. He had his chance. He wasted the summer. Its over for him."

The next month he won the debate against Hillary Clinton, won the night at the Jefferson Jackson dinner in iowa, and through many more ups and downs, won the presidency.

People said it was impossible. We ignored them and kept working. Barack Obama won and the impossible become the possible. But he didn't do it alone.  Only through collective action and a vision for something that common wisdom said was impossible.

Why now are we so ready to throw in the towel without a fight ?  Just because the media repeats the mantra of Democratic defeat?  Why not prove the mainstream media wrong again? Its worth the effort if you look at who we will be turning control over to.

President Obama cannot do this alone.  Do not give up on 2010.  Watch this video and get involved in some way, phone bank, canvass or in some way be part of the campaign. We too are responsible for the message and for taking action, not President Obama alone.

Update: Thanks for the reclist ! We control the outcome of this election, if we vote, if we GOTV, not the media. I'm adding a link to OFA Volunteer page: Link to ofa
